The Institute of Operating Systems and Computer Networks (IBR) was founded in 1986 and is part of one of the oldest universities in Germany, the TU Braunschweig. It comprises the three research groups Connected and Mobile Systems (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lars Wolf), Algorithms (Prof. Dr. Sándor P. Fekete), and Distributed Systems (Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Kapitza).

The secretaries' office is opened during the normal working hours, but at least from Monday to Thursday, from 8h to 12h (exceptions might occur).
