Mobile Computing Lab: V2X-Lab

Lectures will be held in presence in room IZ 105.

There are no formal prerequisites.

Although, we strongly recommend to complete the courses

You should also have experiences with:

• C/C++
• Linux

In this lab, we will be working with

• You must register for the lab on this website!
• You must attend every lecture!
• You must complete every task until the given deadline!
• In case you can't attend a lecture or complete a task in time, contact us early on.
• If you miss a lecture or deadline, the lab will be considered failed.
• According to your PO, you may need to sign up for this lab at your Examination Office (Prüfungsamt) and it may be graded for you!

The V2X Lab teaches its praticipants basic knowledge regarding vehicluar communication with a focus on the ETSI ITS communication stack. It is a composition of four practical assignments and multiple, small lectures teaching background information. The assignments will be worked on in groups of up to 3 students and will facilitate knowledge on the following topics:

• Communication Basics
• Applications
• Security
• Simulations

Each task needs to be completed until the deadline, shown in the schedule. To complete the assignments, each group has to arrange an appointment with the assistants and present their solutions.
