The mlm code is years old and I have no idea whether it still works or
not. You may want to know that the mlm stuff is obsolete. The IETF
DISMAN working group defined a Script MIB which was just approved as a
Proposed Standard by the IESG. The current Internet Draft is:

I guess that it will take about two months until this spec gets
published as an RFC.
There is a prototype implementation called Jasmin in which I am
involved. It currently uses the Java VM as its runtime engine, but it
should be easy to add a Tcl interpreter as another runtime engine. You
