ftp://sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk/pub/packages/isode/ (and many other places) have
the latest public releases of the isode package. Note when I say latest I
mean around about 1992, later work is available from Isode Ltd (see
http://www.isode.com/).

The package is huge, but it is possible to compile the SNMP agent without
having to compile the majority of the source.

If _all_ you want is a reliable mib-2 capable SNMPv1 agent for use on BSDi
and FreeBSD this will do the job, anything more will require hacking code.
Getting it working with NetBSD, OpenBSD etc needs a few changes as some
kernel structures have changed in their move to support more platforms.

If there is any interest I'll see about tidying up and releasing my patches.
