[tkined] Syntax (sub-)ranges patch??

In a reply, "Re: Command to get integer ranges?" posted 12Sept96,
J. Schoenwaelder stated that he could provide patches to the
current MIB parser to handle ranges, however, in a reply "Re: how
to extract exact syntax from MIB variable ?" posted 1Jul97, he
indicated that there were no plans to add this enhancement in
scotty 2.2.x.

Now, I have not seen any patches made available, maybe I didn't
search on the correct item. If there is a patch, where can
it be obtained?? If there isn't a patch, is anyone working on
one?? If no one is working on one, would it be ok if I gave it
a go?? Keep in mind that compilers/parsers is not a strong
point of mine.
