Suggestion on hooking scotty with other Windows application

Hi all. I'm trying to hook a front end Win32 application written in
Delphi to some back-end scripts written in scotty (funny set-up eh?
Well, scotty seems to be the easiest package to make SNMP queries).
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience hooking Win32 applications
with scotty. I tried using TCP sockets. That seems to work but not
too robustly. After exchanging too many messages too quickly, the
client (the front end application) will stop responding. I'm using
Tcl7.5. Any suggestions?
