clau> Hi all. I'm trying to hook a front end Win32 application
clau> written in Delphi to some back-end scripts written in
clau> scotty (funny set-up eh? Well, scotty seems to be the
clau> easiest package to make SNMP queries). I'm wondering if
clau> anyone has any experience hooking Win32 applications with
clau> scotty. I tried using TCP sockets. That seems to work
clau> but not too robustly. After exchanging too many messages

Interesting. I have re-written the communication between tkined and
the scotty processes to use TCP sockets instead of pipes to make
tkined work on Windows boxes. It works quite nice on a Windows NT 4.0
box, but is sometimes hangs on a Windows NT 3.51 box. I never figured
out what is going wrong. So my question is: Which version of Windows
are you using?
