As a novice with Scotty, I find it the best thing since sliced bread.
I am running Scotty on a linux box on a network with several Sun's.
The ICMP and SNMP work great. But recently tried the 'msql' option.
Upon doing the 'make install' in Scotty, I get the message:
can't resolve symbol Tcl_LinkVar
within the file: ../lib/tnm2.1.5.so.
The TCLLIBPATH variable is set and again, all works fine as long
as I don't configure Scotty with '--enable-msql'.
I'm running linux 2.0.26, Scotty-2.1.5, tcl7.5p1, and tk4.1p1.
Several machines run mSQL and am curious as to what Scotty does with
them.
Many thanks,
Donovan Wade
