SUMMARY: System management

Earlier I described some ideas about using Scotty/Tkined for remote
system management. The framework would consist of:

1) An interpreter on each managed host

2) A user interface running at some management station, and having
scatter/gather capabilities over the managed hosts

3) A secure protocol connecting the management station and managed hosts

I asked for comments on the idea generally, and for a reaction to any
enhancements to Scotty/Tkined that might suit these purposes. I promised
to summarize.

Well, apart from a thoughtful exchange with Doug Hughes about encryption
legalities, I haven't heard any comments. End of summary.

Comments are still welcome, of course. Meanwhile, at the point where I
have specific enhancements to suggest for Scotty/Tkined, I'll assume nobody
will mind if I put them directly to Juergen.
