[tkined] tkined and tcl 8.3

When I run ./configure in scotty-00-02-21 I get following result:

stows01>cd unix/
stows01>./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for prefix by checking for scotty... no
checking for prefix by checking for tclsh8.2... no
checking for prefix by checking for tclsh... /usr/local/bin/tclsh
checking for tclsh8.2... no
checking for tclConfig.sh in /lib... no
checking for tclConfig.sh in /usr/local/lib... yes
checking for tcl version... 8.3
configure: error: Tcl version 8.2 needed
stows01>

I guess this is due to the fact the tkined is autoconf for tcl 8.2
and nothing else.

What can I do to get around this, because tcl 8.3 should support
everything thar tcl 8.2 does?
