I am jsut checking in patches based on your diff. I took the freedom
to do some things in a different way. Since I do not run Win32, I have
no idea what your compiler will say.

I also integrated a patch so that you can listen on arbitrary port
for incoming traps on Win32 and arbitrary ports > 1024 on Unix plus
port 162 via the nmtrapd. This actually shortened the code.
