Hello,

what is the recommended scotty version for a new project (SNMP manager for a
single network element).
I have downloaded a scotty 3.0.0 snapshot as well as the official 2.1.10/11
for linux.

After compilation with TCL/TK8.3.3(without errors) + installation of
scotty2.1.11 on my linux box (suse 7.2) i performed the test suite bundled
with scotty. This test suite fails during the mib test (cannot
allocate -17xxxxxxx bytes). Is this a known problem? Is there a official bug
DB?
That`s why i switch over to scotty2.1.10(original version in suse7.2). I did
not discovered the error in the test suite with scotty2.1.10.

Could someone give me a hint?

Thanks in advance,
Torsten
