Hello again friends,

I believe that the "defval" subcommand
of the mib command only exists in 3.0.0? I didn't see it documented in the 2.1.10 man page, though you can invoke it in either version. However it seems to return legitimate
values only in 3.0.0. There is a return value when calling it in 2.1.10 but it is bogus,
is this correct? Is there any way in 2.1.10 of getting the default value of an oid?

I'm running the same script on both versions and get differing results, e.g.

mib load RFC1381-MIB
mib defval labpAdmnEntry.9

On 3.0.0 the result is 3000 which is correct;
On 2.1.10 the result is empty. On some OIDs I get some garbage returned.

Thanks
S. Austin
