[tkined] Tnm 3.0 static build?

A while ago (around the beginning of the year, maybe late last year) I
tried to build Scotty statically linked into the Tcl core. Unfortunately,
it seemed it couldn't be done on WindowsNT. I was wondering if this is
still the case. The reason I would like to link statically is so that I can
build my Tclshell with all the various extensions I need, and them use
TclPro to wrap up the scripts I write. Currently, I have to have my users
install my shell, and then they can use my wrapped scripts. I'd like to be
able to skip the process of having them install the shell.

I guess what it boils down to is:
- Is it possible to build Scotty such that it is statically linked into the
Tcl shell on the various platforms (especially Solaris and Windows 95 and NT)?
- If not, is there a guess as to when it will be (if at all)?

Thanks,
Robert Seeger
