Hello,

I'm using Tkined and I have some question for you about it, I hope that
you can help me.

I'm monitoring the traffic in a router CISCO 7500 (this router is my exit
to satellite), I'm using the Tkined's SNMP-Cisco module for make this.
Specifically I need to make statistisc about the trafic in this router, in
others words, I need to know how many bandwidth's percentage uses the
diferents institutions of my total bandwidth, this I can to measure in
this CISCO 7500.

I have used the Acounting Table option and this shows me a sample; well, I
think that this sample is util for me, but I don't find the
characteristics of this Tkined's sample in any Tkined's document, well,
the questions are:

1. Which are the characteristics of this sample (Acounting Table sample)?
for example:
Acounting Table show me:

Accounting statistics of int-gw.ing.ula.ve (1d 9:56:00.06):

Source Destination Packets Bytes
-------------------------------------------------------------
138.100.16.5 < 150.185.149.61> 294838 441262582
150.185.146.250 < 209.67.229.139> 12230 9290732
161.196.64.2 < 150.185.130.16> 113277 7330780
131.225.110.74 < 150.185.138.33> 50395 5154888
150.185.146.250 < 209.67.229.142> 3893 2336946

In the first line, we can see the DNS-name of my router, and between
brackets: 1d 9:56:00.06, well we can see "1d", the meaning of this is
one day (I suppose, is true?) and four colums that are very clear for
me, but, some doubts are:

1.1. How is ordered this IP addres list?,
I think that Tkined takes this information directly of my router
CISCO 7500, and I think that this sample is ownership of the
router CISCO 7500, I think that the router CISCO 7500 make this
table always adding each packets and bytes (of source-destination)
during all day, in other words, is the adding of packets and bytes
of all day for each source-destination, and every day doing the
same (starting againg every days).
Is this manner that works Acounting Table option?.

1.2. If not is of that manner, How is the characteristic of this
sample?, and then, with your information I will need the
sample's "time stamp".

2. I listened that Tkined make the same statistics showing PERCENTAGE or
looked. Are there something that make that?.

With that information, that will give me the snmp_cisco.tcl, I'm thinking
to make a Tcl script that will show diary monitoring with statistisc.

I hope that you can help me very soon, I'm new using Tkined, but I
learn fast.

Early thanks,

Gregorio Marquez

P.S.
I'm using scotty 2.1.10, over RedHat 6.0 (I have installed the
scotty2.1.10.rpm).

Excuse my bad english please, I hope that you can understand me, my
native language is spanish.
