here are any suggestions for improvements:
1. strip the vendor table from snmp_trouble code and put it into extra
file for easy update
2. enhance LINK objects with labels and line types (i.e. solid, dotted,
dashed, ...)
3. enable LINKs to REFERENCE objects
4. add code to resolve destroy events from window manager on LOG windows
(see mail "pop up windows sometimes not popping up" from Adam Haeder)
