Raymond> I am a new user of Tkined and I wonder if someone could help
Raymond> me with an simple question. I have added some scripts to
Raymond> tkined v.2.1.7 on a HP unix station to monitor a large
Raymond> network. I have added my own routines to the menubar and
Raymond> want to be able to mark an object and display any information
Raymond> about the object (router) in a new window in Tkined. What
Raymond> ined object gives me a new full size window to put snmp
Raymond> information in?? This is what I need to do. 1.I select a
Raymond> router etc. 2.Choose new window from my new menubar What
Raymond> command in the script gives me the window 3.I select start
Raymond> snmp (command) and the information pops up in my new window.
Raymond> With information on all interfaces that are running and
Raymond> information about CPU-running time etc.. What comand in tcl
Raymond> would open a new window for me, and what command would
Raymond> display the selected information in the new window
There is currently no command to create a new Tkined view. You need to
hack the C code a bit in order to export such a command.
