Hi,

it was just a guess ;-)

and just another beer for doug - cheers :-)

Khoi> [...] I reset them to the following values, and YAHOO, the

Khoi> TNM_LIBRARY=/usr/local/lib/tnm2.1.9 (somehow, scotty gets

Khoi> TCL_LIBRARY=/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/lib/tcl8.0 (since I am
Khoi> using 8.0)

yes, the tnm/generic/tnmInit.c source shows that only one path is
expected inside the TNM_LIBRARY environment variable and no searchlist
is supported or expected.

but what documentation stated TNM_LIBRARY would search multiple
directories ? the source of this information should be fixed or at
least clarified.

Khoi> Anyway, just wanted to share my problem and resolution, in
Khoi> hope of helping those who will have the same problems.

good to have a summary like yours in the archives.
