There was a project a few years ago running out of Tudefelt (I think)
University in the Netherlands
running a project called Beholder which was implementing RMON based cde on a
Sun/Linux platforms
along with SNMP tools called Tricklet.
I have been able to compile the code successfully on Sun platforms (with a
little bit of work on the
source code but have never got it to work on Linux.
Try doing a web search on btng and you'll find a link (Beholder - The Next
Generation)
Regards
Adrian
