Does anyone know how to get around this? Or, does anyone know where I
can get a binary distribution for Solaris 2.6.1?

I have installed TCL 8.0.3 with no additional patches.

I noticed that someone in Germany published a new binary source that
fixes this problem, but I do not seem to be able to download from such a

long distance; it stalls.
