i've been using tkined for about a week now and i like it a lot... thanks to
everyone who wrote about the unique name option (i actually found it about 5
seconds before the first mail came thru..) now i have another question...
forgive me it sounds dumb - when moitoring reachability there are three
options syslog, flash and write.... now i can figure the last two but
what/where is the syslog? also is it possible to get some sort of auditory
notice of a machine falling off the net? i.e. one beep the first time tkined
realises its missing.

ok heres another question... is it possible to discover the same network
twice? i've tried it but kept coming up with errors in the discover window...
is this normal? i'm asking because i now have (probably) the majority of our
network mapped but discover has missed parts of it which could maybe be found
if it was possible to run discover again. otherwise i guess i will have to put
them in by hand.

TIA

GREG
