[tkined] Scotty with Tcl 8.0p2, 8.0.3, and 8.0.4...

I have been struggling to decide which Tcl distributions to use with
Scotty lately. 8.0p2 is quite stable and many packages works with it
without change. 8.0.3 introduces the nasty channel closing bug, but
is the official release from Scriptics and incr Tcl works with it.
8.0.4 does not have the channel bug.

Does the current Scotty 3.0.0 snapshot works correctly on 8.0.4? Do I
have to go in and take out the channel fix? Would it work with 8.0p2?
