Hi,

scotty-2.1.9 compiles okay under FreeBSD 2.2.6, but when I "make install", I
see the following error:

[tan-e: ~/scotty-2.1.9/unix] gmake install
Installing scotty2.1.9 and tnm2.1.9.so
Installing ./../tnm/library/README
Installing ./../tnm/library/dialog.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/output.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/snmp.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/monitor.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/obsolete.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/init.tcl
initialization failed: couldn't load file "/usr/tmp/scotty/lib/tnm2.1.9": bad
magic number in "/usr/tmp/scotty/lib/tnm2.1.9"
gmake: *** [tnm-install-library] Error 1
Exit 2

This is what ended up in /usr/tmp/scotty/lib after the error:

[tan-e: ~/scotty-2.1.9/unix] ll /usr/tmp/scotty/lib/

drwxr-xr-x 6 larse wheel 512 Oct 20 16:12 tnm2.1.9/
-r-xr-xr-x 1 larse wheel 261810 Oct 20 19:20 tnm2.1.9.so*

Any ideas what could cause this? I can compile and install fine under Solaris,
but I need scotty to run locally under FreeBSD as I need to manage some local
tunnels which cannot be accessed remotely.

Lars
