I have been trying to get a SNMP agent that works with Linux-alpha
cmu-snmp seems to not be 64bit clean( at least for linux). So it tried
ucd-snmp. This seems to work much better but when I try to walk a mib
scotty seems to think it gets no-response, while the agents snmpwalk
seems to work ok.

Is there some magic to using different snmp agents?
