I was able to compile everything without error in the scotty-2.1.9.tar.gz
distribution on a MkLinux/DR3 system with tcl8.0.

When I tried a "make install", I rec'd the following error message
and the installation stopped:

Installing scotty2.1.9 and tnm2.1.9.so
Installing ./../tnm/library/README
Installing ./../tnm/library/dialog.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/output.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/snmp.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/monitor.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/obsolete.tcl
Installing ./../tnm/library/init.tcl
initialization failed:
couldn't load file "/usr/local/lib/tnm2.1.9.so":
/usr/local/lib/tnm2.1.9.so: undefined symbol: __dn_expand
make: *** [tnm-install-library] Error 1

I tried the "add -lc to the LIBS" in the Makefile, but got the same
message.

Anyone have any idea(s) how to proceed?

Thanks,
