The Readme.txt of this snapshot says:

> Note: This snapshot binary version will stop working on 1. October
> 1998.

So the tnm-extension is expired.

We are working on a new 3.0.0 snapshot (hopefully with a workaround of
a bug in tcl8.0p3).

An exception popup is clearly an unwanted behavior, but this one maybe
the result of another bug in tk8.0p2 when managing menues.
