Sorry, I didn't make it clear. The performance I am comparing is the
'discover' script which discover all the SNMP agent in a subnet. The script
is from /lib/tnm3.0.0/examples directory. I did the SNMP discovery on my
subnet with network mask 255.255.255.0.

The NT Scotty tool takes about 220 seconds to get all the SNMP agents. I am
using tnm3.0.0, tcl/tk 8.0 in Win NT.

With my Unix machine on the same subnet as my NT machine, the Unix version
of 'discover' script discovers all the SNMP agents in the subnet in about 12
seconds. The only difference is that I am using the tnm2.1.9 in my unix
station. I would like to know how to make the SNMP discover script in NT
runs faster. Thanks!

Sin Lam
