Ucd users recommend ucd-snmp, the other recommend cmu-snmp for linux ;-)

Just look what suits you better.

ucd-snmp (based on cmu-snmp too) is ported to a wide variety of
platforms and especially recommended, if you want the same agent on
different platforms.

cmu-snmp for linux has more linux specific additions.
