I've taken Juergen's old sunrpc stuff from scotty ~2.1.5 and made a
separate loadable package for it (including pcnfs, and NFS null).
It works on tcl8.0

ftp.eng.auburn.edu:pub/doug/sunrpc.tar.gz

It is known to work on Solaris, and should also work fine on SunOS.
If you want to use other than SparcWorks compilers, change the -K PIC
to something else (e.g. fPIC for gnu)
It will probably work just fine on Linux too.

installation is easy.

Edit the Makefile and change the path to your TCL root directory, then type
make. make install installs the library and package index file.

P.S. Juergen, mind if I announce/post to tcl/neosite archive? (giving you
credit of course)
