the bypass part means that you don't have to add your mib to the
tnm(mibs) variable in order to get it to load. You can just type
mib load to load your mib. The behavior is as you saw.

It doesn't bypass the loading of all standard mibs, but you are able
to bypass setting your mib in the tnm(mibs) list.
