[tkined] SNMP waiting for traps

Hi Scotty Folks,

I have a SNMP agent/manager problem.
Can I do a snmp session on a manager waitung for an agent comming up?
What I did is building an agent who'll send a trap after coming up to a predefined
manager. On the manager is a session waiting for traps. That works with SNMPv2c.
For SNMPv2u first I have to start the agent.
The manager has to retrieve some snmp information from the agent. Then close the
session and open an extra session for getting traps. Now the agent can go down
and up again sending a trap and the manager is showing it.

Is this behavior o.k.? What is to do to enable this for SNMPv2u without starting
the agent first?

I tried with Scotty 2.1.7/8/9 on Linux and Irix. Both agent and manager are
written in Scotty.

Thanks for your help.
Matthias
