The other Tnm components should be fine (I hope) because there have
not been too many changes. The SNMP stuff is still incomplete. For
example, you can't receive traps on all platforms right now.

The conversion to use Tcl_Objs internally in the SNMP engine is also
not complete yet. However, this conversion does not affect the Tcl
APIs, so this is not a reason to delay 3.0.0. (It however has some
impact on the performance of the Tnm extension, especially in bigger
scripts.)

There are some API issues that I would like to have resolved before
releasing 3.0.0. (Basically SNMPv3 session options and an overhaul of
the SNMP agent API to allow future support for AgentX.) I also started
to write code to make delta computations with Counter32 and Counter64
easier by providing some new commands. (This solves annoying problems
with Tcl's platform dependent arithmetics and lack of support for
unsigned numbers.)

I am also working on our SNMPv3 implementation, but this turns out to
require some changes to the structure of the SNMP engine. This goes
hand in hand with the conversion to use Tcl_Objs.

Finally, there is work going on to make the scripts that come with the
package reusable by packing them into packages with well defined
interfaces.

I know, I need to draw a line somewhere.
