This is rainman writing.
I'm wondering about the reason why I can't see the same results.
I've been studing scotty from this morning.
Now I'm in Basic SNMP Monitoring(Trap receiving).
I followed the directions that was described in "Getting started with
Tkined".
->LMB Click: "Tools"
->LMB Click: "SNMP Monitoring" (on pull down)
The SNMP-Monitor menu item appears on the menu bar.
->LMB Click; SNMP-Monitor (on menu bar)
->LMB Click: "Trap Sink"
In text, they say that "A window appears titled "Listen for SNMP trap
messages". With an option to listen for SNMPv1 messages. click on
listen, then accept."
But I can't see the window titled "Listen for SNMP trap message".
I'm wondering about the reason.
