Once again: The Win32 port in 2.1.8 is not fully functional. Besides
some other restrictions, there is no way to get the communication
between tkined and a tclsh working in 2.1.8.

This problem is solved in the sources under development. If you want
to run tkined under Win32, you have to use the development snapshots.
However, these snapshots are subject to changes and not all of the
SNMP functionality in 2.1.8 is currently working in the development
snapshot. Note also that the snapshot is not maintained in any way.
(So be prepared to help yourself if something does not work.)

Depends whether the solution is "portable", which means that the same
code works on Unix and Win32, and whether I like the overall result.
Note that the development snapshot already has a more Windows style
look and feel. You might want to start from that snapshot.
