I am trying to install Scotty 2.1.8 on a Solaris 2.5.1 machine. I have
successfully installed Tcl and Tk 8.0p2 I do a "./configure
--enable-gcc" in the scotty/unix directory and then do a "make". I get
the following message after running "make":

I looked at the "up-to-date version of porting.notes" at
http://wwwsnmp.cs.utwente.nl/~schoenw/scotty/
and get the same error even if I change the "SHLIB_LD" line to be
/usr/ccs/bin/ld -G
I am not running "bind" but use a campus "domain name server". Do I
have to run "bind" on the machine that I want to compile "scotty" on?
