We need more information in order to fix the problem. Which operating
system do you use? If you have access to more than one OS, does the
problem exist on all of them? Do you have a small script and a set of
steps so that we can try to reproduce the problem? Can you get the
same false results by running ntping(8) from the command line? If yes,
can you run ntping in debug mode (-D) and send us the output?
