I guess you watch the interface load via the snmp monitor ?

It seems your linux boxes have no snmp agent running.

You may look, if your distribution has a cmu-snmp-linux package you
can install.

Or you may like to fetch a new one and install yourself from

http://www.gaertner.de/snmp/

I hope this helps.
