Well, i checked the library and the kernel-source package from redhat,
but they does not include the headers. It seems there are seperate
packages for kernel herders and libc headers, which i did not check
(hard to find, not accessible via broken links on redhat's site and
not to mention the braindamaged rpm format on non redhat hosts :-(.

I think, better the redhat guys would check this and give a hint or
better provide a fix (for ntping.c oder for their redhat
distribution).

This sound's a bit strange; scotty should run on a intel based linux
platform (however, like other packages it may not run out-of-the-box
on a redhat based installation).

To get further help you should tell us, what part does not run.
scotty ? ntping ? tkined ? what command is broken ?

It would be helpful if you can provide an example or an error log or
something like that.

Maybe someone on the list had seen this too and solved this problem.

Erik
