This is in sequel to my earlier posting regarding my problems with
installing scotty and msqltcl together on my Linux box.
After following the instructions from
http://www.rosat.mpe-garching.mpg.de/mailing-lists/TKined/1997-09/msg00040.html,
I was able to install msqltcl as a loadable module and tried to
dynamically load msqltcl from scotty. But, I get the following error :
> scotty
% package require msqltcl
2.30
% msqlconnect
scotty: can't resolve symbol 'Tcl_LinkVar'
error while autoloading "msqlconnect": couldn't load file
"/usr/local/msqltcl/lib/msqltcl2.30.so": Unable to resolve symbol

I am not sure what the problem is.
Can someone help me?
I am using Linux 2.0.12, tcl 7.6, tk 4.2, scotty 2.1.7, msql 2.0.3 and
msqltcl 2.30.
