[tkined] Scotty/Straps problem

I am using Solaris 2.5 with Scotty 2.1.7 for an SNMP trap process.

When I use the snmp shell process from an X window in foreground mode for
testing straps will start ok. ps shows both processes.

If I kill the process (^C) and restart it, straps appears not to start (only one
process showing) or if it does (ps shows two pe`rocesses) it does not attach to
the port, messages rejected with a bad port message. If I again ^C and restart
the process, staps will start OK.

This is consistent, restart failing the first time and working OK the second.

It appears to be SUN specific as I do not see it on an HP.

Any comment or suggestion would be most welcomed.

Thankyou.
