1). I am monitoring approximately 100 nodes with the flash and write options
enabled. When restarting the map with the appropriate IP monitor statements,
the map initializes with the "IP Monitor" menue option for a few seconds and
then disappears and no error messages are produced. How can I investigate the
cause of the monitor jobs terminating?
2). We are monitoring a number of nodes which for one reason or another may be
down for a few hours. We would like to acknowledge the event to stop the node
flashing and writing to the IP monitor report until the state changes. Can this
be done easily?
3). We seemed to get a rather sluggish performance with this number of nodes
when the IP monitor flashes problems up. Is there a performance problem when
flashing icons? Can the flashing algorithm be modified to reduce the overhead
on the system?
