snowy:~> scotty2.1.7
% icmp echo 209.112.190.5
{209.112.190.5 -1}
% exit
snowy:~> ntping 209.112.190.5
1: 209.112.190.5 *
2: 209.112.190.5 *
I poked a bit with ntping, and got this from 'ntping -D':
** sendloop 0
... recv got: rc 64
... got icmp type 209 code 112 id 2048 (0x800)
* unknown icmp type discarded.
... recv got: rc 64
... got icmp type 209 code 112 id 0 (0x0)
* unknown icmp type discarded.
** timediff: 1000 > 43
And, of course, followed with very similar loops.
