[tkined] HPUX 10.20 tkined runtime unresolved symbol

Hello,
I having a problem with tkined I hope someone can help with. This seems to
be somewhat different that the HPUX problem reported in the porting.notes.
In my case, scotty compiles and executes fine. But starting tkined delivers
this error:

couldn't load file "/home/local/lib/tkined1.4.6.sl": unresolved symbol name
while executing
"load /home/local/lib/tkined1.4.6.sl"
("package ifneeded" script)
invoked from within
"package require Tkined 1.4"
(file "/home/local/bin/tkined" line 12)

Operating system: HP-UX 10.20
Compiler: cc
Added compiler flags: -Ae
Added linker flags: -ll
tcl version: 7.6
tk version: 4.2p2
Scotty version: 2.1.6

The suggestion in porting.notes of adding -ll does remove an identical error
that is seen during the "Building Scotty" step of a 'make install'.

Can anyone offer a suggestion?
