Hello,

Can anyone help me with a hang/wait phenomenon when I ran IP discover on
a token ring LAN with 4 bridges in the network.

I am running tkined on a linux version 2.27 with tk4.2 and tcl7.6 the
installation process went ok.

When I run the IP network discover process, the discover window displays
messages about the discovered nodes and routes but seems to hang or wait
just before the SNMP queried message should be displayed. I need to kill
the process to get out of this discover scan.

Further, in the getstart.html doc there is a paragraph on LOADING EXTRA
MIBS there is a reference to site with a large library of MIB files but
the reference behind "this ftp site" in the text gave me an unknown URL.
Does anyone know where this MIB library can be found?

We are running mostly IBM network equipment, are there extentions to the
tool to recognise IBM routers, bridges, hubs and PCs running OS/2 or
Win3.x or Win95 or Win NT.
Is there a site where add-ons can be downloaded from?

Thanks in advance for any help,
regards.
