Installation error

when I compile it using

make install on a sun with solaris I get the following error:

"./../tnm/generic/tnmSunRpc.c", line 72: syntax error before or at: etherstat
"./../tnm/generic/tnmSunRpc.c", line 72: cannot recover from previous errors
cc: acomp failed for ./../tnm/generic/tnmSunRpc.c
*** Error code 2
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `tnmSunRpc.o'

Could you tell me what to do to resolve this problem ?!
