Howdy,

The compile for tkined and scotty seems to have gone OK on my system.
However, I get the following error when I invoke the SNMP Tree option under
the Tools menu:

--8<-cut-here->8--
couldn't load file "/home/memurphy/mylocal/lib/tnm2.1.2.sl": unresolved
symbol name
while executing
"load /home/memurphy/mylocal/lib/tnm2.1.2.sl"
("package ifneeded" script)
invoked from within
"package require Tnm 2.1"
(file "/home/memurphy/mylocal/lib/tkined1.4.2/apps/mibtree" line 22)
--8<-cut-here->8--

I've encountered this error while working through the "Getting Started with
Tkined" documentation under the section "Slightly More Advanced SNMP
Monitoring..." (http://wwwsnmp.cs.utwente.nl/~shoenw/scotty/docs/getstart.html).

My system configuration is HP-UX 10.10, Tcl 7.6, Tk 4.1, Scotty 2.1.2, and
Tkined 1.4.2. I've been reading through the documentation and the list
archives and notice some errors which might be related regarding the
unresolved symbol name issue while compiling. I didn't encounter those
errors, but I have tried a few of the suggestions. I tried adding the -Ae
option to CFLAGS and the -ll option to the build but I still get the same
results.

Any suggestions regarding the above problem appreciated.

Regards,
Ed Murphy
