2.1.2 --> 2.1.5 files & conversion

Hello everyone,

I'm rather new to Scotty, but after reading the FAQ, docs, and archives of
the list I'm still having some problems:

1) The network admin created a number of tkined files in 2.1.2 on SunOS
which I'm trying to read in 2.1.5 on Linux. When I read the files the
bottom and right sides get shifted left and up accordingly and get placed
on top of other images\text. Is this a compat issue with the versions or
the OS'es?

2) What have you used to convert the tkined files to GIF/JPG? I've been
trying to use ghostscript to do it (convert to PCX) but I get trucation
errors. Using XV or whatever to capture the screen isn't that feasible
since it's larger than one screenful.

Thanks to anyone who can give me any ideas!
