Hi folks,

i think the subject says it all: Anyone using tkined to manage IPX
and/or AppleTalk networks? I looked around and found some old IPX
stuff down under in New Zealand, but it appears to be out of date and
requires that tkined is run on a SunOS4 system.

Hardware on this end is a HP 735 (HP-UX 10.20) and a Pentium-166
(Debian GNU/Linux 1.2) doing the management.

I looked into that software from down under to see if i could port the
ipxping command to Linux using its native IPX layer, but it appears to
be a tid more difficult than that. Especially how would one detect
IPX-only systems without having to ping the whole IPX address space.
Would reading the ARP caches and routing tables of known IPX hosts or
routers be good enough?
