I changed to configuration of the majordomo package which handles this
mailing list. Every message is now processed by a wrapper script which
adds a footer (see below) which explains how to unsubscribe from this
list. It also filters out unsubscribe/subscribe messages based on some
heuristics.I hope that this will help to reduce the number of
mis-directed administrative requests we have seen in the last months.

It is possible that some people experienced problems with this list
while we changed the configuration. I apologize for that. I hope that
this list is now running as usual.
