Some paging systems allow you to send a page by sending e-mail to
a specific address (i.e. 1234567@mcinet.com or something like that).

Also, you can configure syslog to send mail on specific events,

So, you can trick things up such that if you send things to syslog
they will end up on someone's pager.

We are planning on trying to get this to work someday.

But I don't have a pager :-).

(I think that there are lots of other solutions).
